Shell Scripting

The camera can be controlled through a shell script. Individual camera commands are executed as described in the command line chapter. As well, many standard Unix and shell scripting commands are available.

A shell script can be used to deliver a web page. Name the script starting with "nph-" to tell the web server not to process the headers so that the web browser can see intermediate results.

An example script can be found on the camera in /cgi-bin/nph-update-firmware-a.sh.
